I'm currently preparing an Answer to a Summons and Complaint filed against me by attorneys of a credit card company. Citibank is listed as the plaintiff. If they end up getting a judgement against me, can they get a lien against my property? I'm buying two inexpensive condos, one for my business and one that I live in. They are in the same building and are on an owner-carried contract; the titles are not under my name. The equity acquired on both of them is less than the homestead exemption.

If they do get a lien and then I do bankruptcy, is that lien dissolved? If so, can they then get another lien against my properties after bankruptcy? I can't do business without the condo because I have equipment that requires space.
